The printer microswitch is also known as a sensitive switch. It is a contact mechanism with a small contact spacing and a fast-acting mechanism that performs switching actions with a specified stroke and specified force. It is covered by a housing and has a drive rod on the outside. Because of its small contact spacing, it is known as a microswitch.
The snap-action mechanism consists of a movable spring, a movable plate, a common terminal, and a bearing bush. When force is applied to the button switch, the force of the movable spring on the movable plate increases, and when it reaches a certain position, the movable plate instantly moves downward, and the movable contact on the normally closed terminal side moves to the normally open contact side.
The contact part is the heart of the microswitch, performing the opening/closing operation of the circuit through the contact. The contact material and shape are used according to the voltage and current of the opening/closing circuit.
The materials mainly include gold, silver, or alloys of the two, as well as gold-plated or silver-plated materials.
Used to protect the snap action mechanism and contacts. The housing materials are mainly divided into recyclable thermoplastic resins and non-recyclable thermosetting resins. Generally, thermoplastic resins are used, but if mechanical strength, heat resistance, and flame retardancy are required, thermosetting resin housings are used.
Switch detection of copier and printer covers:
Use a switch to detect whether the lid is properly set, enabling the correct and safe start-up of copiers and printers. Utilize a small-sized microswitch equipped with a high degree of shape freedom actuator to accurately detect the action of the lid in a confined space by adjusting the pressing force and stroke.
